Admission Eligibility Criteria

For Undergraduate Courses (B.Tech):

  1. Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject as compulsory subjects.
  2. Candidates must have obtained at least 55% marks in aggregate of PCM/PCB/PCMB in the qualifying examination (50% for SC/ST candidates).
  3. Candidates must have appeared for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

For Postgraduate Courses (M.Tech):

  1. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in the relevant field from a recognized university.
  2. Candidates must have obtained at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying examination (55% for SC/ST candidates).
  3. Candidates must have appeared for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) or MAIT entrance test.

For Ph.D. Program:

  1. Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology in the relevant field from a recognized university.
  2. Candidates must have obtained at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying examination (55% for SC/ST candidates).
  3. Candidates must have qualified the UGC-NET (including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/SLET/GATE/teacher fellowship holder or have passed the Ph.D. entrance test conducted by MAIT.
